The Artist took home the most Oscars with wins for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Costume Design, and Original Score. That is five total! Believe it or not, five is not the record for most wins by a single film. Octavia Spencer won for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, she was in the hugely popular book to film, The Help. For the third time, Meryl Streep took home an Oscar. This year, she won Best Actress in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in the The Iron Lady. Christopher Plummer, who is just 2 years younger than Oscar, won for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the film Beginners. The award for Best Animated Feature goes to Rango.
